The tendency to modernity, deep transparent poetic images suggestive, in addition to music in harmony with meaning, was the prominent feature of the evening organized by the Arab Cultural Center in Mezze under the title Poetic Encounter.
The evening, which was held in cooperation with the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Ahmed Ali Muhammad, head of the Union branch in Quneitra, opened an intervention on the aesthetics and horizons of poetry, citing verses from the wonders of poetry by Abbas bin Al-Hanaf in the Abbasid era, explaining that poetry has no way out of its ossification other than its openness and its unconcern and its launch towards humanity and modernity And benefit from the science revolution.
The poet Muhammad Hassan Al-Ali shared the poem “Shafif al-Buh”, which was filled with complex pictures and the accuracy of the meaning. “Morning, your pulse in my heart on my anxiety, I see our nostalgia for the success of the star to the horizon .. and the playing of your voice brings a thousand lilies ... the fragrance of the poem overflows like a bass.
The poet Amir Samawi Al-Rajab has read symbolic poems that are distinguished by the depth of meaning, the strangeness and the astonishment of the images, including a poem entitled Colors of a noisy night in which he said: It is a night in which the heavenly chair needs to be preserved in miracles .. Are those who are flying with those who try .. We wander over the old streets of Levant .. We get shudder Deep warmth //.
The poet Jaber Abu Hussein recited two poems that belong to the vertical style characterized by jinn and whispered music that carried emotional and patriotic concern, namely “The Mutant” and “The Mother of the Groom” in which he sang the martyr and said in which I still remember a sun in his handsome .. and a cloud in his visions that is still in my hand .. Folds The martyr is clouds that cannot escape .. If you abort his mother at night, my son.
As for the poet Abbas Hayrouqa, he presented vertical poems that were distinguished by the sweetness of the music and the displacements at the level of images and meaning, including a poem in which he sang in his country, where he says to you and the promoter will return me ... a child and her almonds start to do what .. so I ran in these fields tweeting .. and spread like self holy wheat.
The evening was concluded by the poet, physician Muhammad Saeed Al-Ateeq, with poetic excerpts that leaned into Sufi meanings, taking the form of a tafel that mixed between the modernity of the images and the depth of meaning in addition to poems entitled Metaphor and the Feast of Mirrors in which he said: “I remember how much I am a child… My hands still shake the trunk of the night to perish .. and open The morning is on the fields ... and the destination of delicious mud and the taste of our estate.
