Dozens of doctors, pediatricians and workers from a network of community clinics in New York, who have been battling the pandemic, received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine from the pharmaceutical company Moderna.
The majority are health professionals of Hispanic origin who provide preventive medicine services, especially to minority, immigrant and low-income communities.
