The mayor of New York City announced that the city intends to terminate its commercial contracts with the company of outgoing US President Donald Trump after he urged his supporters to storm the Capitol building in Washington last week.

The newspaper said Trump's company, which he still owns but has transferred the day-to-day operations of his sons, has contracts with New York City to run an ice rink and golf course in city parks.
The newspaper added that these measures come amid the repercussions of the riots in the Capitol and accusations that Trump incited violence, pointing out that New York-based Signature Bank decided earlier last week to close Trump's personal bank accounts due to the resentment and trauma the administration suffered due to the Capitol attack.
According to the Washington Post, Trump's personal accounts at the bank contain about $ 5.3 million.
The bank had called on Trump to resign and announced that he would not do future work with lawmakers who challenged President-elect Joe Biden's victory after the riots.
