Terrible case in the north: A 46-year-old man, a resident of the Western Galilee, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife, threatening to shoot her and causing severe injuries.
An indictment was filed and the police requested that his detention be extended until the end of the proceedings against him.
During the police investigation it became clear that the husband attacked his wife on various occasions, pushed her, knocked her to the floor and even threatened her that he would shoot her.
Police said the victim was a disabled woman who used a cane to get around.
In a separate case, the police today arrested three women, residents of the center, on suspicion of assaulting a helpless person in a treatment center in Tel Aviv.
The detention of the three was extended in the Tel Aviv District Court.
The women suspected of the acts are 27-year-old caregivers who work at the institution where he is sheltered.
In another violent incident, a 36-year-old resident of Mevaseret Zion, who attacked his elderly neighbor following an argument over the location of the trash can on the street.
Police officers who arrived at the scene detained for questioning the suspect in the assault, and he was taken for questioning on suspicion of assaulting a helpless man and causing damage to his elderly neighbor, who needed medical attention as a result.
This morning, his detention in court was extended for another 3 days and the police investigation continues.
