The Israeli occupation forces renewed their violations and encroachment on Lebanese territory, and this evening, it kidnapped a Lebanese shepherd in southern Lebanon, in a new assault on the freedom and sovereignty of the Lebanese in their lands.
The Lebanese army command said in a statement that "a patrol of the Israeli enemy, in the locality of Bastara in Kafr Shuba, southern Lebanon, kidnapped the shepherd, Hassan Qassem Zahra, and took him to the occupied Palestinian territories."
The Lebanese army’s statement pointed out that the kidnapping is being pursued in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
In May last year, the Israeli enemy forces tried to kidnap a Lebanese shepherd in the Shebaa Farms, as part of its piracy and continuous violations of international laws and UN Security Council resolutions, foremost of which is Resolution 1701.
