There he will meet his former Oklahoma City teammate Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to form a trio with XXL firepower on the offensive side.
It's a three-team trade, which also involves Cleveland.
Various Draft rounds are traded in this transaction.
Caris LeVert, Dante Exum, Rodions Kurucs land at the Rockets.
Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince, on the other hand, go to the Cavaliers.
LeVert won't be staying in Houston for long, however: as Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports, he's being sent to Indiana as part of another exchange that involves Victor Oladipo.
The latter will therefore team up with John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins.
Harden, 31, is on contract until 2023.
