The sales of the Syrian Enterprise for Trade branch in Latakia during the past year reached 19 billion pounds, surpassing its annual plan by nearly three times, estimated at 6.5 billion Syrian pounds.
The branch manager, Shady Dalla, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the branch increased the number of sales outlets and lounges throughout the governorate to about 228 centers during the past year and at the beginning of this year to 230 centers within the organization’s directions for horizontal expansion to reach the largest possible segment of citizens.
Dlala added that the branch achieved an implementation rate of approximately 99.97 percent in the sales of regulated materials via the electronic card that was distributed through the corporation's halls and outlets and through mobile cars that included all regions, especially the remote countryside.

The company, whose sales exceeded 100 million pounds, and video products, whose sales of various items exceeded 200 million pounds, in addition to a wide variety of commodities with good specifications within the framework of positive intervention in the markets by a rate ranging between 10 and 30 percent.
And the significance of the fact that the institution is importing agricultural products directly from farmers and offering them through its outlets or through the outlets of the institution in other governorates, including citrus fruits, as the branch's import from the article exceeded 600 tons during the past year.
