The advisor at the Egyptian Command and Staff College, Major General Muhammad al-Shahawi, confirmed the existence of a close relationship between the American and Turkish occupation forces and the crimes and attacks of terrorist organizations in Syria.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent in Cairo, Al-Shahawi pointed out that the American and Turkish occupation forces, contrary to their allegations, do not want to eliminate terrorism in Syria, so they continue to provide all forms of support to terrorists in implementation of their plans, especially prolonging the crisis in the country, stressing the need for those occupying forces to leave the Syrian territories.
Al-Shahawi reiterated that the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria target the Syrians for their subsistence, expressing at the same time his confidence that the Syrian people will prevail thanks to their steadfastness and rallying around their army.
