Ganz decided to appoint Adv. Amit Isman as Acting State Attorney

Despite Netanyahu's refusal to approve his appointment to the government, the Minister of Defense and Justice decided to appoint Adv. Isman to the position of acting director.

The Minister of Defense and Justice, Bnei Gantz, decided tonight (Wednesday) to appoint Adv. Amit Isman as Acting State Attorney.

This is in light of the fact that after the end of the work of the search committee, the Likud and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to approve the appointment of Isman to the government.

Upon entering the Ministry of Justice, Gantz decided to appoint an Acting State Attorney, in parallel with the moves to bring in a permanent appointment.

Gantz, who also spoke to other sources familiar with the issue, was convinced that Isman regretted the

appointment of a permanent state attorney, found that Isman excelled in his skills significantly above the other candidates.

Things are honest and that there is nothing in them to prevent his appointment.
