Administrative justice rejected on Wednesday an urgent appeal against the AP-HP by the professor of medicine Christian Perronne, dismissed in December from his duties as head of service by the Assistance publique-hospitals de Paris for having made judgments

Professor Perronne, former head of the infectious and tropical diseases department at Raymond-Poincaré hospital in Garches (Hauts-de-Seine), was sanctioned for suggesting that Covid-19 patients represented, according to him, a godsend financial for physicians.

At the beginning of the week, he seized the judge of interim liberties so that he annul this decision, taken on December 16, 2020, considering in particular that his freedom of expression had been violated.
"No breach of the presumption of innocence was noted by the summary judge since the applicant was not the subject of any criminal prosecution, but only of a disciplinary procedure"
, however judged Wednesday the administrative court of Cergy-Pontoise by rejecting his request.
"This summary liberty precedes a summary suspension which will be filed Thursday before the administrative court of Cergy and will relate to the legality of the decision of the AP-HP",
reacted to AFP the lawyer of Pr Perronne, Me Thomas Benages, stressing that the court decision authorizes his client to
"speak publicly, especially in his capacity as university professor - hospital practitioner".
