His parents starred in one of the great love stories of cinema but they did not know each other.
It was not until last Sunday that the daughter of Alain Delon and the former Dutch model Rosalie van Breemen, and that of Romy Schneider and the French-Italian journalist Daniel Biasini met.
Anouchka Delon, 30, and Sarah Biasini, 43, the two actresses, like their parents, met on the set of the

It was an emotional meeting as they admitted.
"It is very special and moving because we have something in common, without having anything in common," said Anouchka Delon.
"Here we are, we are doing it in front of all of you, delighted," Sarah Biasini replied with tears in her eyes.
"We are lucky," replied Alain Delon's daughter.
Anouchka Delon also mentioned Romy Schneider who, despite her death in 1982, remains very present in her father's memory.
"I grew up with a lot of photos of Romy Schneider," he explained.
“She has always been there and is always someone he (Delon) talks about and thinks about.
So in a way it's part of the family. "

Alain Delon and Romy Schneider met in 1958, got engaged a year later, never married, and separated in 1963. They only stayed together for five years but their love was as passionate as it was convulsed.
And that at first there was anything but attraction between them.
"She is a very pretty girl, but very capricious and boring," Delon would say as soon as he met her.
It was August 1958 and the two young actors — 19 years old her, 23 him — were getting ready to shoot their first film together,

The spark soon caught.
“I went to Vienna, where we were shooting the film.
And there I fell madly in love with you.
And you fell in love with me ”, recalled Delon in a posthumous letter after the actress's death in 1982, at age 43.
Their passionate and stormy relationship peppered with Delon's alleged infidelities ended abruptly.
Legend has it that on his return to Paris after a stay in Hollywood in December 1963, Schneider discovered a bouquet of Baccara roses and a few short lines: “I have gone to Mexico with Nathalie.

Somewhat later he received a 15 page letter in which Delon explains his departure with which he will become his first wife and with whom he would have his first child, Anthony.

Love ended but friendship survived.

In fact, soon after Delon leaves his wife to start a long and turbulent relationship with another actress, Mireille Darc.
Only the tragic death of Schneider 13 years later, on May 29, 1982, unable to overcome the death of his son David a year earlier in an accident ended the bond that united two of the greatest actors in European cinema.
