The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, condemned the US restrictions imposed on freedom of expression on communication sites, saying that they are a reflection of Washington's behavior in the international arena.
The RIA Novosti news agency quoted Zakharova as saying today that the United States has adopted in recent decades only one way to manage international affairs, which is to impose sanctions and illegal restrictions, adding that this is currently being applied to social networks without a law or judicial decision and in the same way they are deported

Earlier, Twitter and Facebook announced that the accounts of outgoing US President Donald Trump were frozen for inciting violence and subsequently stormed the Capitol headquarters, and other lesser-known social networks followed their example.
