Russian President Vladimir Putin had indicated earlier that Russia is ready to organize vaccine production in foreign companies' facilities, calling for organizing vaccine production in importing countries and not just direct sales.

The "Sputnik V" vaccine is the first vaccine recorded against the emerging corona virus in the world, which was developed by the Gamalia Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology and is produced in cooperation with the Russian Fund for Direct Investments.
