Ten people have been indicted after the dismantling at the beginning of the week of a network of drug traffickers raging in the Grenoble region, the Grenoble prosecutor's office announced on Friday (January 15th).

During an operation carried out on Monday by 170 soldiers from the Isère group and around thirty investigators, twelve people were arrested in several municipalities in the agglomeration.
Ten of the suspects, men aged between 20 and 37, were indicted for their involvement in “
drug trafficking, money laundering, participation in a criminal association and possession of weapons
”.
Six were remanded in custody and four under judicial supervision.
The other two were released.
Detected in February 2020, this network was the subject of an investigation entrusted by the prosecution to the research brigade of the company in Grenoble, which succeeded in identifying several of its members, including a main reseller "

The arrests and searches led to the seizure of 1.5 kilograms of cannabis resin, 1 kilogram of herb and a few grams of cocaine, four firearms, 2 357 magnum revolvers, 1 7.65 mm automatic pistol and a semi-automatic rifle. automatic sawed-off, and more than 23,000 euros in small denominations.
Numerous clothes and items, including a luxury sedan, were also seized.
