Behind his mask with a small shield in the colors of the French flag, the supervisor of the Fresnes penitentiary center seems to accuse the blow.

Suspected in a narcotics case within the prison itself, between January 1, 2019 and January 12, 2021, the 41-year-old man was remanded in custody, pending trial, in accordance with the requisitions of the public prosecutor, during the immediate appearances at the court of Créteil, this Friday at the end of the afternoon.

His alleged accomplice, the possible drug dealer, 25, was also jailed.

He will return to his cell in Fresnes in the evening, after several convictions for driving without a license.

In court, he declares himself a drug addict

The supervisor, also prosecuted for passive corruption, was arrested at his home Tuesday morning by investigators from the judicial police of Val-de-Marne.

Besides drugs, he also allegedly smuggled alcohol and meat to detainees.

In the grip of setbacks, he justified his actions by evoking his drug addiction, with a consumption of ten joints daily.

It was also his behavior, about which his colleagues and his superiors had doubts, which led to a report to the police.

Drugs were reportedly discovered during the search of his home.

"That we ensure that he is placed in a cell, alone if possible, to avoid any risk," said the president of the court to his escort.

He will be imprisoned in another penitentiary establishment in Ile-de-France.

His accomplice, recently convicted, was due out of prison during the month of February.

He will have to wait at least next February 23, date of postponement of the trial.
