was able to obtain the latest draft of the Charter of Principles of the National Council of Imams, prepared by the French Council of Muslim Worship (CFCM).
As for the competing text, the Charter of Values of the National Council of Imams, it is available on the Mizane Info site.
It insists much more on the preeminence of Islam.
Certain titles of the ten articles of the charter prepared by the CFCM are significant: “Liberty”, “Equality”, “Fraternity”, “Rejection of foreign interference and the instrumentalization of Islam for political ends”, “Attachment to reason and free will ”,“ Attachment to secularism and public services ”.
