A 30-year-old man was electrocuted to death tonight (Saturday) at his home in Netivot.

Paramedics and Magen David Adom paramedics, who were called to the scene, instead of giving him medical care and carried out lengthy resuscitation at the end of which determined the man's death. An initial investigation indicates that the man was electrocuted during practice skimmer.



Emergency medical technician MDA Uriel Dahan recalls: "When we arrived "We were led to a man who was unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing. We provided him with medical treatment and performed prolonged resuscitation operations that included giving medication, respiration and massages but unfortunately in the end we had to determine his death."



Last Thursday, a 27-year-old man died after being electrocuted in Kiryat Malachi.

The MDA team that arrived at the scene performed CPR on the young man, Chen Cohen, and evacuated him to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod, where they were forced to determine his death. As far as is known, the young man arrived after a power cord was torn and fell on the road due to stormy winds. And was electrocuted to death.

Last October, a 40-year-old worker was electrocuted to death after operating a crane from a truck on Olive Street in Kiryat Ekron.

MDA staff evacuated him in critical condition to Kaplan Hospital, performing resuscitation operations on him, as he suffered extensive burns to his body. However, at the hospital the medical staff was forced to determine his death.
