Germany recorded nearly a thousand new deaths from the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases in Germany as saying that "the number of daily infections with the virus increased by 18678, while the number of daily deaths reached 980."
This brought the total number of injuries in Germany to two million and 19636, while the total number of deaths reached 45,974.
On the other hand, the Philippines recorded 2,058 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 498,691.
The number of deaths rose to 9,884, after 8 new deaths were recorded.
