Among them, a 24-year-old female diagnosed with an unknown source lived in Jingwen Building, Ho Man Tin Village, which was previously listed as a compulsory testing building. She was the eighth confirmed person in the building. She recently stayed at the "Deluxe Hotel Tsuen Wan" in Kwai Chung.

If Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories are used to divide the remaining 14 cases of unknown origin, the Kowloon region will account for 7 cases, the New Territories will account for 6 cases, and the Hong Kong Island region will account for 1 case.

Six buildings in the Kowloon area may be subject to mandatory testing. Four of them are within the “designated areas” designated by the government for high risk of outbreaks, including Yaumatei Kingway Plaza, Wusong Street Jinbao Building, 45A Reclamation Street, and Zo Block B of Dun Uni-President Building; and Yi Man Building in To Kwa Wan, which added two unsourced cases in a single day, and Yu Tak Building in Yau Ma Tei, which has accumulated two cases of unknown source, may also be subject to inspection by the powers.

Among the 15 new cases of unknown origin, a 24-year-old female diagnosed with no travel history (case number: 9489) reported that she lived in Jingwen Building, Ho Man Tin Village, which had been included in the mandatory testing list, and became Jing Wen Lou is the 8th confirmed case recently.

She was unwell as early as January 5, and recently stayed at the "City Hotel Tsuen Wan" in Kwai Chung.

Of the remaining 14 cases of unknown origin, 7 were in Kowloon, 6 were in the New Territories, and only 1 was recorded in Hong Kong Island, involving a 60-year-old man living in Yiu Fuk House, Yiu Tung Estate, Shau Kei Wan (Case No: 9497 ), he became ill on January 13, the first person to be diagnosed in the building.

Seven cases of unknown origin were recorded in the Kowloon District of Kowloon District on January 16. Four of them were from Yau Ma Tei, which had a recent outbreak. It is the third person to be diagnosed in the building recently and the second case of unknown origin.

Although Yu Tak Building is not in the "designated area" designated by the government (from Nathan Road in the east, Gansu Street in the north, Ferry Street in the west, and Jordan Road in the south), there are two cases of unknown origin in the same building. The building will be included in the mandatory inspection list.

Four buildings in Yau Tsim Mong "designated area" now have unclear source diagnosis

In addition, Yau Ma Tei Kingway Plaza, Wusong Street Jinbao Building, 45A Reclamation Street, and Jordan Uni-President Building B also recorded new cases. As for Block B of Jordan Uni-President Building, a 29-year-old woman (Case No. 9500) was diagnosed. She was unwell last Thursday (14th).

Two cases of unknown origin recorded in Yi Man Building in To Kwa Wan in a single day

As for the Yi Man Building in To Kwa Wan, although there is a certain distance from the recent outbreaks in Yau Ma Tei and Jordan, two cases of unknown origin were recorded on January 16, respectively, the 34-year-old who became ill on Wednesday (13th). Male (Case ID: 9485); and a 60-year-old woman who developed symptoms last Thursday (14th) (Case ID: 9498).

A 34-year-old male diagnosed (Case No. 9481) reported to live in Lam Hau Village, Yuen Long and Hang Chui House, Tin Heng Village, Tin Shui Wai. He became ill on January 7 and was diagnosed on January 16.

Half of the 6 cases of unknown origin recorded in the New Territories were related to Yuen Long Wai Village

In the New Territories, there were 6 cases of unknown origin on January 16, of which 3 were related to Yuen Long Wai Village, including a 47-year-old male (Case No. 9490) who reported to live at Kung Um Road, Yuen Long. He became ill on the 9th. A 45-year-old man (Case No. 9499) was also diagnosed in Dongzhen Wai, Xintian, Yuen Long. He had no prior symptoms.

Another 34-year-old man (Case No. 9481) reportedly lived in Lam Hau Village, Yuen Long and Hang Chui House, Tin Heng Village, Tin Shui Wai. He became ill on January 7.

In addition, a 45-year-old woman (case number: 9496) was diagnosed in Kam Shan Village, Tai Po. She became ill on January 13; a 45-year-old man (case number: 9470) was also diagnosed in Block 1 of Fanling Wing Fai Centre. As early as January 8, he was unwell and was the first person to be diagnosed in the building recently.

4 cases in Renshi Building, Shek Yin Village, 1 case of unknown source

As for Yan Shek House, Shek Yam Village, Kwai Chung, where there have been multiple confirmed cases and the residents of the 09-room unit have to be evacuated, 4 new cases have been confirmed today, of which one is of unknown origin, involving a 57-year-old man with no symptoms (Case No: 9484). There are 11 related cases in the same building, with 10 residents.

The non-resident is a 33-year-old female household in Block 10 of Baitian Village, Shek Kip Mei, who was diagnosed earlier (case number: 9056). She was unwell on January 4 and was diagnosed on January 6 with an unknown source.
