Within the activities of the Spring of Childhood Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Directorate of Culture of Homs during the mid-term holiday, a book fair was opened today, which included more than 300 titles.
On the exhibition held by the Book Friends Forum and the Spring House for Children's Book, Sanaa Sawsan Khabbaz, Director of the House and the Zenobia Foundation, said that it includes books directed to the child and the educator alike, including international stories, scientific encyclopedias, and stories for people with disabilities, and it continues until the end of the mid-term holiday.
A painting workshop was also held within the activities of the festival, which, according to the artist Fawzi Al-Saadi, the supervisor of the activity, adopted the integration of all age groups of children and was open to all visitors to the children's section, during which information was provided on the basic principles of drawing and methods of color combining.
It is noteworthy that the Spring of Childhood Festival continues until the 23rd of this month, and tomorrow's activities include reading sessions and a film for children.
