“Embers of the Soul” are very short stories by the writer Mahmoud Ali Al-Saeed, characterized by artistic reduction and interest in the amazing flash and sincere emotion influenced by the concerns of the Palestinian and Arab people.
The stories in the Al-Adeeb Al-Saeed group start burning with sadness from the beginning of the event based on the tragedy to continue with remarkable speed and leave its mark on the other conscience due to the similarity of concern and the identical feeling of calamity and disaster as it is in the story (I became a prisoner).
Al-Saeed's stories are crowned in addition to being amazed at the different cultures and learning about the cultures of others who are not Arabs, with the Arab culture that made him distinguished by the strength of the language and the smooth preamble of the story (paradox).
In the stories of the group issued by Dar Al-Nahj, the repercussions of Palestine are clear and spontaneously apparent due to his great inclination to liberation, liberation and return to the homeland.
It is noteworthy that the writer is a poet and writer who has more than thirty books in poetry and story. He is one of the pioneers of the very short story and a member of the Arab Writers Union and the Plastic Artists Union and the secretariat of the Committee for the Defense of Palestinian National Culture.
