Aid workers today found 10 survivors in the rubble of the earthquake that struck the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
"Ten survivors have been recovered," Agence France-Presse quoted an official in the rescue services as saying, adding that dozens of dead people were pulled from the rubble of collapsed buildings in Mamuju, the capital of West Sulawesi.
The earthquake that occurred yesterday, with a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale, killed at least 45 people and injured hundreds of others.
