Nigerian military sources announced today that terrorists affiliated with ISIS in West Africa attacked a military base in the northeast of the country.
Agence France-Presse quoted the sources as saying that gunmen arrived on board trucks and attacked the Marat base near Lake Chad and took control of it.
The sources did not give further details.
It is noteworthy that the terrorist organization "ISIS" spread in the West Africa region and launched terrorist attacks in a number of countries in that region, such as Nigeria and Mali.
