The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge crashed into a bridge. At about 4 pm today (16th), the police received a report off Shenqu Bay on Lantau Island. A marine police boat crashed into a bridge of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge during training. No one was injured in the incident. The Highways Department stated that the bridge was not damaged after inspection.

The police listed the incident as a ship collision.

The Highways Department stated that it was notified by the police at about 4:30 this afternoon that a marine police rubber boat accidentally crashed into the bridge of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Link Road No. P44 near Shenku Bay on Lantau Island. The department sent officers to the scene. The inspection confirmed that the bridge was not damaged.

The Marine Department stated that immediately after the incident, a patrol boat was dispatched to inspect the scene. No one was injured in the incident. Marine police are investigating the incident.
