It is an emblematic case of school bullying.
Faced with the suicide of little Evaëlle in June 2019 in Herblay in the Val d'Oise, the Pontoise prosecutor Éric Corbaux had opened a judicial investigation for "
school harassment
" and "
manslaughter
".
His teacher had been implicated.
As well as at least five children including three, aged 11 at the time of the facts, were indicted.

On Friday June 21, 2019, Evaëlle returns home after school.
She is an intelligent 6th year student, always in a good mood, passionate about theater and its Internet radio lessons.
She asks her mother if she can watch cartoons.
It is soon the holidays and the whole family is planning to go on a trip.
Evaëlle does not tell her parents, but even today, one of her classmates attacked her.
In the evening, her mother falls on her notebook of correspondence, "
completely torn with nervousness
