Interior design:

Ayelet Levy Adani

The design work of this 5-room penthouse apartment was done for a couple in Chapter II of their lives and standing Enter the new apartment.

The owner of the apartment is an artist who deals with photography and creation, and her works form a significant part of the design of the apartment.

The real challenge in the design was to create a combination of the tenant's favorite styles: boho chic, industrial, Nordic and even a bit rustic, in a harmonious and practical way.

"Design is not only a matter of aesthetics and comfort, but it generates emotions" (Photo: PR, Eran Turgeman)

"It was important for the couple that the house be open, spacious, modular with as few walls as possible. They expressed a desire for a special design like no other, anywhere. A clean, flowing design that connects the tenant's variety of styles," says Ayelet Levy Adani, who believes in this project.

"I believe that design is not just a matter of aesthetics and comfort, but it generates emotions, and when questions arise - then comes the motivation to achieve our goals. Order and harmony give us mental clarity and creativity and it accompanies me in every design work, especially when it comes to an artist's house ", Levy Adani added.

"The line that guided me in designing the apartment rests on a gray cube with a wooden platform that serves as a gallery to display the tenant's works. Above it I chose to reveal the air conditioning duct in the same layout and this whole element became the design center of the project," explains the designer.

The living room covers a large area due to the lack of a designated area for a dining area, and the gray cube gives a sense of continuity of a sleek and harmonious space.

Since the tenant wanted a design that was both special but also one that could be easily moved - it was not possible to incorporate an island in the kitchen.

"Great importance was given to the size of the dining area so that the couple could accommodate their families. So we designed a large and practical dining table in the center of the kitchen. The large and spacious kitchen incorporates an industrial, Nordic and a bit rustic style, combining styles that the tenants connected. Himself - something that gave a lot of character to the kitchen. The kitchen and office are separated by a white metal library, instead of a wall, in order to give a light and borderless look to the space and allow a clean feeling of space.

The balcony is a direct continuation of the central space and creates the green lung of the house.

Flower pots were placed along its entire length, creating a feeling of being outdoors inside the house, and it was also equipped with a seating area and a large guest table in the same guideline where the apartment was designed.

In the couple's bedroom, the graphite was inserted as a dark background, above which are light colors and vegetation so that they blend in harmoniously with the shades in the rest of the apartment.

Inaccuracies in the choice of shade, element or furniture can easily turn the design into a collection of things collected, rather than a harmonious and cohesive space (Photo: PR, Eran Turgeman)

"The dose of colors in the design of the entire apartment was carefully chosen to give the apartment an accurate, clean and holistic look and not a mixture of styles: gray, black, white, brown-hamra, orange and pink. For the same reason the furniture was chosen very precisely because the color was inaccurate "The element or furniture can easily turn the design into a collection of things that have been collected, rather than into a harmonious and cohesive space, as we wanted and were able to create in the apartment," concludes Levy Adani.
