They were caught during a check on the A8 near Weyarn - with kilos of drugs in a welded-in false floor.
Now two men are on trial.

- It was a pretty big catch that the investigators caught on December 22, 2019 at around 8 p.m. on the motorway near Weyarn.
They noticed a BMW 1 series with a Montenegrin license plate.
And indeed: when they stopped the car in the Seehamer See parking lot on the A 8 in the direction of Salzburg, the suspicion was confirmed.
The vehicle was used by drug smugglers.
In a specially welded double floor under the footwell of the BMW, they found almost 21 kilograms of marijuana on the driver and passenger side, packed in 45 packages of just under 500 grams each.
Since Thursday, the two inmates of the Montenegrin car now have to answer before the Munich II district court.
Marinko E. (49), taxi driver from Podgorica in Montenegro, drove the BMW.
Dalibor K. (33), a tiler from Prijepolje in Serbia, acted as co-driver.
The public prosecutor's office accuses them of jointly unauthorized importation of narcotics in not small quantities as well as jointly illicit trading in narcotic substances in not small amounts.
Because the small amount of the active ingredient tetrahydrocannabinol was exceeded by at least 285 times in view of this load.
The two defendants have been in custody since December 23, 2019.
The investigators do not know exactly at which border crossing the Montenegrins and Serbs entered the Federal Republic, but suspect that this took place near Passau.
At the start of the trial, the two defendants reported very different things about their defense lawyers.
E. has largely admitted the accusations from the indictment.
K. on the other hand denies the allegations completely.
The process is ongoing.
