Riots in Mea Shearim:
Hundreds of residents of the neighborhood in Jerusalem today (Sunday) threw stones and objects at police forces, who carried out enforcement according to the Korona's instructions.
During an enforcement operation, in which police officers arrived at educational institutions operating in violation of instructions, hundreds of people gathered near Shabbat Square in Jerusalem while throwing stones and objects at police officers.

Police forces have issued a number of reports for the various offenses. The police clarified: "We will continue to act in the face of the blatant, repeated violations, while carrying out our mission with determination and fearlessness for public health as part of the persistent national struggle to stop the spread of the virus."
As you may recall, on Thursday, ten residents of the neighborhood were arrested for disorderly conduct, throwing stones and refusing to identify themselves in the riots, after police forces who entered the neighborhood were attacked with stones and garbage bags thrown at them.

Police noted that two police officers were hit by stones, and that one suspect was caught "on hot" with a stone in his hand and he was arrested.
A senior police officer told the ultra-Orthodox protest group: "The Mea Shearim neighborhood is no different from any other neighborhood in the city and we will not hesitate to enforce the regulations in the neighborhood."
Meanwhile, police arrested a verified corona patient who violated isolation at a checkpoint at the entrance to Modi'in Illit.
The man claimed he was on his way to a gas station.
He was sent to complete the isolation at his home and was summoned for questioning upon its completion.
