The Arab parties that make up the joint list have begun preparing for the elections to the 24th Knesset.

On Friday, the National Council of the Hadash Party approved the list of its representatives in the Knesset. The movement's chairman, MK Ayman Odeh, who also heads the joint list, will continue to be in first place. In second place on the Hadash list is MK Aida Toma Suleiman; Dr. Ofer Kasif;

In fourth and fifth places are MKs Yosef Jabarin and Jaber Asakla.

In the coming days, the Hadash party is also expected to launch an advertising campaign ahead of the upcoming elections.

MK Toma Suleiman said that the Hadash Council, which has hundreds of members, Arabs and Jews from the Galilee, the Triangle, the Negev, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, has renewed confidence in me and my friends Ayman Odeh, Ofer Kasif, Yosef Jabarin and Jaber Asakla. "Our position is clear - to work for the preservation of the common list, provided that the approach on which it was founded is preserved - against the right, against the occupation and for equality for all citizens."

The one that has already launched an advertising campaign that includes billboards ahead of the upcoming elections is the Balad party, which launched a few days ago aggressive billboards against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - in response to the prime minister's well-publicized election campaign in the Arab public. "Netanyahu is the architect of nationality, incitement "Netanyahu's method is to harm and humiliate the Arab citizens in order to win the votes of the right, on the one hand, and to try to bribe the Arab public with uncovered promises to allocate funds and solve problems on the other."

The Balad party's campaign includes signs in Hebrew and Arabic in major cities around the country, in addition to signage in Arab localities. The signs in Hebrew feature a figure with a large cigar, with the slogan "We are not bought."

Former MK Jamal Zahalka of Balad called Netanyahu's appeal to the Arab public: "A disgusting mix of despicable flattery, impudence, arrogance, shamelessness and contempt for Arab citizens."

Balad chairman on the joint list MK Amtans Shehadeh said of Balad's campaign: "We are not being bought in deals, we are here to fight for equal citizenship and the idea of a state of all its citizens."

Despite this, the decisions of the parties that make up the joint list to prepare for elections in separate campaigns do not herald a close split in the joint list, since even in the previous three election rounds the Arab parties first went out in separate campaigns.
