All entrances to Nahariya in the north of the country were closed today (Sunday) to vehicular traffic by the police, due to flooding in the city.
Cops at the entrances are diverting traffic to alternate routes.
Firefighters are helping civilians cross roads in the Ga'aton Avenue area.
According to Meteo-Tech, Maalot Tarshiha is the city with the largest amount of rain in the 24 hours between 12:00 yesterday and today, with 80 mm of rain. Other places where a large amount of rain fell are Kibbutz Elrom (50 Mm), Safed (47 mm), Haifa (40 mm), Kibbutz Shamir (35 mm), Kidmat Zvi (32 mm) and Haifa (40 mm).
Meanwhile, earlier today it snowed on the lower level of the Hermon site.
