Ganz: If there is no equal enforcement, there is no point in continuing the closure

The Minister of Defense visited the Alon headquarters of the Home Front Command and criticized the manner in which the restrictions were enforced, as part of the closure that took effect more than a week ago.

Defense Minister Bnei Gantz today (Sunday) questioned the need for a closure, in light of the manner in which the restrictions are enforced.

"If there is no equal enforcement - there is no point in continuing the closure," Ganz said during a visit to the Home Front Command's Alon headquarters, just over a week after the closure took effect.

"The law of Tel Aviv, Shefar'am, Beitar Illit and Ashdod - one law is, everyone must follow the instructions," he added.

His remarks were made after the opening of the ultra-Orthodox educational institutions today in violation of regulations.
