The amount of beloved cottons that were ginned in the Al-Asi gin in Hama since the beginning of the ginning operations in early October and up to date reached 3,400 tons, out of the 3,696 tons received from farmers in the governorates of Raqqa and Deir Al-Zour.
The director of ginning, Eng. Yasser Halabiya, told SANA’s correspondent today that the ginning operations produced 612 bale ginning cotton with a weight of 1173 tons and 1980 tons of industrial cotton seeds. It is expected that the ginning operations will be completed within a period not exceeding the end of this month, noting that work is currently being done with one shift per day with a ginning card. 50 tons.
He pointed out that 1924 tons of industrial seeds resulting from ginning operations were supplied to the oil companies in Hama and Aleppo, and 745 tons of ginned cotton bales were supplied to spinning and weaving companies in various governorates.
