The visit will be accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Eyal Zamir, the Commander of the Home Front Command, Major General Uri Gordin, the Commander of the Task Force, Brigadier General Nissan Davidi, Assistant Minister of Defense, Moshe Edri and the head of the Biological Institute, Prof. Shmuel Shapira.
Meanwhile, the corona's commissioner, Prof. Nachman Ash, is holding a press briefing today following the increase in corona morbidity.
"In recent days we have seen a heavy load on the health system. There are about 1,200 critically ill patients, 85% occupancy in the various corona wards, hospitals are lowering elective activity and the geriatric system is very high. There is difficulty in evacuating verified patients from nursing homes," he said.
"We are working to release vertebrates who have recovered more effectively," Prof. Ash added. "The load is expected to continue for several more days, until we see a decrease in morbidity. We cautiously hope that the weekend trend of the slowdown will continue. The R is also declining, not yet. We went down from 1, but the direction is encouraging. "
