The political scientist Pascal Perrineau chairs Sciences Po Alumni (Association of former students of the Institute of Political Studies of Paris, in non-Americanized French).
He sent them this message on January 11, the opening lines of which are as follows:
“Dear Sciences Po Alumni, Olivier Duhamel, faced with very serious accusations, has resigned from his mandate as President of the FNSP
(National Science Foundation policies, which oversees the school, Editor's note)
and all the other functions he held.
The revelations which concern his private life shake us very deeply because the incest of which he is accused touches on what founds humanity and society.
These are held only by the taboo of incest and, when it collapses, it is a bit of our world that collapses. ”
