Lapid denies negotiations with Ganz: "He can not be trusted"
Amid reports of talks between the parties, Chairman Yesh Atid has denied contacts with the Blue and White Chairman.
In a zoom conversation with activists, Lapid said that "there is no such connection, and there are no negotiations."
In blue and white, attempts are being made to create the appearance of contacts with the unions, but most parties claim that such a union has no electoral value.

Chairman of Yesh Atid Yair Lapid today (Saturday) vehemently denied contacts with the blue-and-white chairman Bnei Gantz.
In a Zoom conversation with activists, Lapid said that "there is no such connection, and there are no negotiations. The last time I spoke with Bnei Gantz was before he formed the government with Netanyahu.
Lapid's denial and renunciation comes amid a flurry of reports of contacts between Ganz and him and Huldai about connections.
Ganz last week called on the center-left camp to start working for the unions, but at this point most of the party leaders in his camp are calling for him to resign and not run in the upcoming election campaign.
In blue and white they try to produce the appearance of vigorous contacts with the unions, but most parties claim that the union with them has no electoral value.

In a zoom conversation Lapid had with political reporters last week, he said that "there is a great danger in the fragments of the parties and the splits - it only serves Netanyahu and the far right. In the last 2 polls I saw we were the second largest party, I think we need to lead. "
He added that "any connection that doubles in power we will happily go to."
The next day, Ganz called for a connection between the parties of the center-left bloc ahead of the upcoming elections.
He mentioned the names of all party leaders as candidates for the union - but did not mention the names of new Tikva chairman Gideon Saar and right-wing chairman Naftali Bennett, saying they were "from the right."
During the statement, Ganz first explicitly admitted that he was wrong when he joined Netanyahu in forming the coalition.

"Bibi is holding an entire country by the throat to evade trial," he claimed at the beginning of his speech.
"I shook the hand of a serial breaker of promises. I was wrong. He cheated on me, he cheated on you, he cheated once too many times. From now on there will be a cash payment for the exercise this man did and is doing for the State of Israel. And you, Bibi, will also go to trial, we will make sure that happens. "
Ganz clarified that agreements must be reached on the unification of the parties in order to win the election.
"This is an emergency, it must not be dismantled into party fragments," he clarified.
"Therefore, I call on everyone for whom Israel is important, on anyone who will no longer go with Bibi, to give up the ego and unite."
