Today, the Minister of Health in the Lebanese caretaker government, Hamad Hassan, signed the final contract with Pfizer to secure more than two million vaccines against the Coronavirus, which are expected to arrive in Lebanon early next month.
The media office of Minister Hassan announced that the contract is added to the agreement signed with the Kovacs global platform last October to secure two million and 700 thousand vaccines from various international companies that will arrive in succession to Lebanon.
The statement added that the ministry is in the process of securing two million vaccines from the AstraZeneca and Cinopharm companies, starting from next February, while additional vaccines have been booked from Johnson, which will arrive as soon as the global ratifications for the vaccine are completed, while discussions with the American company Moderna and Russian Sputnik are still continuing with the private sector's contribution to secure additional quantities of Vaccines.
