The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, reaffirmed that the US embargo and unilateral coercive measures imposed on his country are unjust and must be lifted.
Salehi said in an interview with the media website of the Office of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the embargo and the nuclear agreement that the American ban against us is an unjust matter and must be lifted, and that the nuclear issue is merely an excuse because the basis of the problem with Iran is that they do not accept the ruling regime there, pointing out that the parliament’s decision The Iranian abolition of the obligations of the nuclear agreement comes as a continuation of the five steps previously taken by the government to reduce commitments to the nuclear agreement in response to the failure of the Western parties to implement their obligations to the agreement, America's withdrawal from it, and re-imposing the embargo on his country.
We do not have a technical problem to implement the parliament’s decision, as we brought the rate of uranium enrichment to 20 percent within 24 hours, and we produce about half a kilogram of uranium enriched with this percentage daily and store it for use in the Tehran reactor, pointing out that his country will not return to implementing the nuclear agreement unless the other parties commit By agreement.
And Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed in his tweet earlier today that the leaders of the European Troika did not do anything to preserve the nuclear agreement with Iran, stressing that this agreement exists thanks to Tehran's efforts only.
