A 22-year-old man was shot dead this Sunday afternoon, shortly after 2 p.m., in Pierrefitte (Seine-Saint-Denis).
This young inhabitant of the city of Jean-Vilar was targeted while he was in rue Pierre, located in a residential area in the city center and overlooking rue Parmentier.
He was found lying on the ground, the victim of at least two bullets in the body.
One of them, which affected his heart, was fatal: the man died of his injuries a few minutes later despite the intervention of the emergency services.
Litigation in prison
The author of the shots managed to escape.
According to a source close to the investigation, he and the victim have already been identified.
The two men, who live in Pierrefitte, would have a more or less recent dispute: "This could go back to a case which would have happened while they frequented the same prison", confides this same source.
The sub-directorate of the judicial police (SDPJ) of Seine-Saint-Denis was in charge of the investigation.
For his part, Michel Fourcade, the mayor (PS) of Pierrefitte, “deplores this gratuitous violence” which is plaguing his city this Sunday evening.
“One young man has died and the other is expected to spend a good part of his life in prison,” he continues.
These are two families from the city who are going to be in distress.
