The Public Institution for Drinking Water in Tartous Governorate announced that it has temporarily stopped pumping from a number of springs in the governorate due to the turbidity resulting from the torrential rains in the governorate.

Engineer Nizar Jabour, Director General of the Foundation, stated in a statement to SANA that the springs from which pumping was stopped are the spring of Dilbah in the Ad-Draikish area, the spring of Al-Diroun in the Sheikh Badr area, the spring of Hajj Hassan Bridge in the Qadmous area, and the Qunya spring in the Qadmous area, indicating that the foundation will resume pumping upon return The ratio of turbidity to normal according to the Syrian standard specifications.

The governorate of Tartous is witnessing heavy rains, leading to bottlenecks in some locations on public roads, and the workshops have opened them and facilitated traffic flow and passage through them.
