The Health Directorate in Al-Hasakah Governorate has put the Eastern Health Center in Al-Arbouya neighborhood in Qamishli city into service after the completion of the necessary maintenance and restoration operations, which were carried out in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent, the official of the health center, Dr. Tamara Odis, indicated that the center provides Sunni, children and women's health services, vaccinations, and a medical examination committee, and serves the people of Arbouya neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods.
The official of the health district in Qamishli, Dr. Nafie Saker, confirmed that the health center’s services during the restoration period were continuing in the field of providing the vaccine, and today, after the restoration is completed, it continues to provide the rest of the health services it provides, and soon it will be provided with solar panels to be supplied with electric power around the clock.
It is noteworthy that the health center serves more than 71,000 people, distributed in several neighborhoods of the city of Qamishli.
