Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the International Criminal Court to expedite the opening of an official investigation into the crimes of the Israeli occupation in the Palestinian territories and to hold the Israeli war criminals accountable in order to achieve international justice.
The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement today reported by Wafa that the occupation continues its crimes and violations against Palestinians, their property and holy sites, with the aim of seizing more Palestinian land and expanding its colonial plans.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed that the international silence encourages the occupation to persist in its crimes and violations and to implement its settlement plans, which leads to the final elimination of any opportunity to establish a sovereign and geographically connected Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Foreign Ministry stressed the need for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, to take decisive measures, and to pressure the occupation to stop its crimes, and not to be satisfied with some statements of condemnation or UN decisions that are not implemented.
