The University Graduates Association in Homs revived its first cultural event for the current year by hosting a number of poets in the governorate in a poetry meeting at its headquarters in the city.

The poems recited by the poets were characterized by a spontaneous and direct manner, whether spoken or classical poetry, to express the inner components of the soul, and the poems that the participants' slices sought to carry the homeland to the highest meanings and poetic images, sometimes with sadness and loss, sometimes with hope and victory.

The poet Ibrahim Al-Hashem began the poetic meeting by reciting a number of patriotic and humanitarian poems, including a tear in the measure of absence and loss, which he composed in a graceful literary style full of poetic images with their deep meanings.

In turn, the poet Fatima Al-Hassan recited a set of flirtatious poetry clips in which she expressed emotional states of love, waiting and human fatigue in which free poetry was used, including the soul, fatigue, the sunnah, the moment, sail, and inscription.

In her first steps in the world of literature and poetry, the young woman, Ghinwa Amish, recited spinning poems in a vertical style, including the Qandil poem and thoughts, which reflected her poetic spirit and the beauty of her literary language.

Poet Khadija Al-Hassan shared some of the verses of her poems that glorified love and sublime human feelings and sang the glorious nation, to conclude the meeting, Dr. Issa Asaad, with a number of his poems with spoken and eloquent poetry, where the passionate soul reveals in his poetry to embrace the sky, especially when he praises the love of the victorious nation.
