While the French must undergo a thousand constraints in the name of the health crisis, motorists are slapped on the fingers by the courts when they allow themselves some freedom on their vehicle.
This is the case in Vendée in particular.
Some choose to include the symbol of their department on their license plate, instead of that of their region, which must however appear.
Still others change the regional logo and the departmental number by sticking a sticker instead of redoing a plaque.
Nothing too bad in itself, because each time the essential remains: the number of the license plate remains clearly visible and allows the driver to be found in the event of an offense.

But, in a recent judgment, the Court of Cassation recalls that the rule must be followed to the letter.
