Pelosi before the vote against Trump: "You must go" 0:57
(CNN) -
In a new criminal court case against a woman who allegedly entered the U.S. Capitol on January 6, the FBI noted that an informant raised the possibility that she had stolen a laptop from the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, to sell it to Russia.
There is no indication that a laptop was taken from Pelosi's office.
And the FBI says in the court file that "the matter remains under investigation."
It's one of the strangest details to emerge in the flood of court filings against people accused of robbing the Capitol.

In this case, a person claiming to be Riley June Williams' romantic ex-partner from Pennsylvania identified Williams to the FBI in a video inside the Capitol building that showed her directing and guiding people "up" to Pelosi's office, according to an affidavit filed Sunday for Williams' arrest.
The informant "also claimed to have spoken with friends of Williams, who showed him (the informant) a video of Williams removing a laptop or hard drive from President Pelosi's office," the affidavit reads.
The informant "stated that Williams intended to send the computing device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia's foreign intelligence service."

The person told the FBI that "the transfer of the computing device to Russia failed for unknown reasons and Williams still has the computing device or destroyed it," the affidavit says.

Williams is not charged with theft.
She is only charged with trespassing or disturbing the public order and entering the restricted space of the Capitol, the same charges faced by many of those who participated in the siege that day.
The FBI also noted that Williams appeared to have fled and deleted his social media accounts.
