A variety of purposeful entertainment and cultural activities targeting a wide range of children are organized on a daily basis during the mid-term holiday within the Spring Childhood Festival that is held in the Cultural Center in Homs.

Today's activities included an interactive musical theater, entertainment activities, a contemporary ballet segment prepared by the left and Angela Nesta from the Palo Ensemble, with the participation of the Youth Volunteer Team, in addition to a reading activity organized by the Friends of the Book Forum in the children's section.

In a statement to SANA's correspondent, Angela, a trainer of Baloo, indicated that the group tried to present different content, as it combined ballet with the music that children love, as part of her activity she presented under the title Music Time.

A group of children gifted with playing the performances, such as Hady Mualla, a violin player, presented a piece entitled "Charles" and the child Lynn Ibrahim, a violin player, a love song.

Rahaf Othman, the leader of the youth volunteer team that organizes the event, indicated that the team bears the task of communicating with children, showing their talents, and providing fun, fun and entertainment for them through their participation in useful and meaningful activities and organizing them periodically.

According to Ahmed Al-Khatib, the youth volunteer team participated in playing the piano accompanying the performance of the Baloo Band, as it presented songs with the books of Your Name, Oh My Country, Oh Night, and Paparvel.

On the reading activity that was held in the children's section, Najah Hanna, one of the founders of the Friends of the Book Forum, mentioned that the activity targeted the age group of 7 to 10 years, during which the story of the Enchanted Hut was read, which is a simple story that tells about the meaning of friendship and love, indicating that the children participated during the activity by reading stories that they wrote In an effort by the forum to initiate the idea of ​​reading into a daily habit for children, especially those with talents.

The Spring of Childhood Festival continues its activities until the end of the mid-term holiday, as tomorrow's activities include two awareness activities against the Corona pandemic and interactive reading.
