Law against separatism: the discomfort of "non-attached" deputies in the Assembly

The deputies who are not members of a parliamentary group in the Assembly see their speaking time reduced in the debates on the law reinforcing the republican principles. A dysfunction which largely impacts their involvement in the discussions.


For these twenty-five deputies, contempt becomes difficult to digest.

Once again, these

"non-members"

will experience the few cases that the regulations of the National Assembly reserve for elected officials not belonging to any parliamentary group.

In particular, there are members of parliament RN, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan as well as a number of elected representatives who have resigned from the majority.

I tabled 84 amendments.

I could not defend any of them during the meeting.

While the bill reinforcing the republican principles arrived yesterday in a special committee in the Assembly, elected officials already know that their chance to be able to amend, or even discuss the text during its consideration in plenary session, on the 1st February, is zero.

At the end of a meeting with the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, on October 6, Marine Le Pen nevertheless promised:

"We will participate with a lot of energy and proposals in the debate."

Alas, the president of the National Rally was somewhat disillusioned when she saw the order and speaking times allocated to her parliamentarians.
