At 5:30 this morning (18th), at Block 10, Longmen Residence, Tuen Mun, heavy smoke was reported from residential units and a large number of residents evacuated to the ground by themselves.
The firefighter arrived at the scene to rescue and found a 32-year-old man in a coma. He was rescued immediately. The ambulancemen took over. The victim was still breathing and pulsed, so he was sent to the hospital for rescue.
After preliminary investigation, it is believed that the incident was caused by the unit refrigerator, and the cause of the incident is unsuspicious.
