Summary :
On Wednesday, January 6, several hundred demonstrators invaded the Capitol, an emblematic place of American democracy, to challenge once again the defeat of Donald Trump in the presidential election of November 2020. Among them, several participants claim to be part of the movement QAnon conspirator.
Following these riots, which left 5 dead, Twitter permanently suspended 70,000 accounts linked to the movement.
Created on an online forum in the fall of 2017, this community today represents more than 3 million people on social networks.
The QAnon are particularly convinced of the existence of a vast secret pedophile and Satanist network, at the hands of the Democratic camp and its allies.
In the United States, the authorities fear that more and more radicalized partisans commit real violent acts.
An episode of Source Code told by Benjamin Jérôme, journalist at Parisien Week-End, and Tristan Mendès France, specialist in digital cultures, associate lecturer at the University of Paris.
