The Czech health authorities announced the registration of the first infection in the country with the mutated Corona mutation that appeared recently in Britain.
"The first infection in the country with the strain that appeared in Britain was discovered," the Czech news agency CTK quoted the National Institute of Public Health as saying in a statement, without giving further details.
It is noteworthy that the total number of Coronavirus infections in the Czech Republic reached 891852, and the total deaths reached 14,449 cases, according to the latest statistics of the health authorities in the country.
