The United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement UNMHA today renewed its expression of concern about targeting civilians as a result of the continued violation of the ceasefire agreement in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, west of Yemen.
The Saudi aggression and its mercenaries continue to target Hudaydah Governorate with various types of weapons, in continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement reached by the Yemeni parties during their talks in Sweden on the thirteenth of December 2018.
The United Nations website quoted the head of the mission, Lt. Gen. Abhijit Goha, as saying in a press release that the resulting civilian casualties are unacceptable, stressing that the safety and security of the local population is of utmost importance and is the main reason behind the ceasefire agreement and affirming that the mission will make every effort to confirm Implementing and adhering to the Hodeidah Agreement.
